The Rotary Club of Brisbane South East (formerly the Rotary Club of Balmoral) has been a partner and sponsor of our programs since our fundraising activities commenced in 2010/11. With their support NextSteps registered our activities as a Rotary Australia World Community Service (RAWCS) project, allowing Australian donations to be ascribed charitable tax status.
Rotary Australia World Community Service Ltd (RAWCS) assists Rotary Clubs develop and manage National and World community service projects. Australian Rotarians participate in activities to improve the lives and living conditions of others and to promote international understanding and goodwill. NextSteps program activities are registered as a RAWCS project, providing Australian donors with access to a charitable tax deduction.
From 2015, GECKO, Kinderhilfe Südostasien e.V., Erfurt, Germany have become major sponsors of the Outreach Surgical Missions provided by NextSteps. GECKO's aim is to provide help and assistance to needy people, children and young adults, primarily in South -East Asia.
